I have this aversion to putting my hands in raw hamburger meat, so I found a solution.  Katie loves to mix up the meat for me.  So now when I am making meatloaf, meatballs or hamburgers Katie puts on her apron and jumps up on her stool.  She is actually very good as you can see by the perfect shape of the meatballs she is making this particular day.  Maybe she’ll be the Next Food Network Star!!!

When Aunt Mary visits, the kids always make pancakes with her in the morning ( because Jesse and I are lazy bums who don’t get up to make our guest breakfast).  This is one of those great pic’s Katie will appreciate when she’s about 14!!
